  • 7th Annual Service Fair Please join us for the 7th Annual Service Fair on April 9, 2015 at the Floyd County High School from 5 - 7 p.m.  Our team of professionals will answer your questions and provide guidance on a variety of topics as well as provide workshops on ADHD, Reading, Math, Tips for Parents of English Language Learners and Health Screenings.  Free dinner and fun for kids is provided .  Services are available to children and adults.  Check out our flyer by clicking the Department Tab at the top of the website and visit the Special Education & Student Services Department; scroll down to the bottom to see the flyer.  You can also click the file below to view the flyer.

  • Floyd County School Board - Notice of Meetings & Public Hearing The Floyd County School Board will hold an adjourned meeting on Thursday, March 26, 2015 at 6:00 p.m. for a budget work session.  The meeting will be held at the School Board Administrative Office.   An adjourned school board meeting will also be held on March 30, 2015 to conduct a public hearing for receiving citizens’ comments on the proposed 2015-16 school budget.  The public hearing will be held in the library of Floyd County High School and begin promptly at 6:00 p.m.

  • Special Called School Board Meeting Notice The Floyd County School Board will conduct a special called meeting on Tuesday, March 10, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. for a joint session with the Floyd County Board of Supervisors at the Floyd County Administrative Office.

  • Student Connect Reduced Priced Internet Floyd County High School is partnering with Citizens Telephone Cooperative (Citizens) to provide Internet service at home for students who are eligible for Free & Reduced Lunch Program.  "Student Connect" provides a high speed data connection to access educational resources to aid in academic success.  The Student Connect program will follow FCHS Internet restriction guidelines and will be reviewed by Citizens and FCHS at the end of the school year.  FCHS will be administering and providing technical support for the Student Connect program.  Eligible participants will be charged a monthly fee of $10 monthly for Student Connect Internet access.  Fees are to be paid to FCHS Student Connect.  Citizens will be handling the initial install of the Internet service; technical support ...
