  • School Board Sets 2014/15 School Visitation Schedule Annual school site visitations will be conducted for board members to be available to staff, parents and community members for discussing issues and concerns.  School visitations will be hosted by the individual School Board member who represents the district of the school, the Division Superintendent, and other School Board members who are able to attend.  Click on the School Board navigation tab above for the schedule.

SCHEV has created an institutional profile for each Virginia public college and university, and for each independent college or university participating in the Virginia Tuition Assistance Grant Program.   • Donate to the Floyd County FFA-School Farm! The Floyd County Future Farmers of America (FFA) is currently looking to develop necessary infrastructure (fencing,irrigation) to further develop our new school farm. The farm will function as a  “laboratory” for agriculture students to get hands-on experience with managing and operating all aspects of a diversified, functioning farm. Our primary goal is to raise $15,000 by the start of the school year, with the first project to install fencing along the property border with highway 221, so students can safely be brought out to the farm to grow crops and raise livestock next semester.     You can find more information about donating, as well as receiving updates on the farm by visiting our website: www.floydcountyffaschoolfarm.org.
