Alternative Education

The Alternative Education Program is located behind Floyd County High School. It provides some at risk students an option for furthering their education. The program is research based, assessment driven and provides individual instruction through computer programs such as APEX   Students are taught strategies needed to return to mainstream classes, recover course credit for graduation or enter ISAEP. ISAEP is a program that provides career guidance, career and technical skills, a GED and college credit through New River Community College.
