Virginia Tech Upward Bound
Upward Bound helps high school students overcome social, academic, and cultural barriers to higher education through career exploration, college prep workshops, cultural experiences, tutoring, and mentorship.

Virginia Tech Talent Search
Talent Search is an early intervention program for students in grades six through 12 that helps young people better understand their educational opportunities and options. Talent Search works primarily with students who would be the first in their family to complete a college degree and are from low-income households, but can also provide services to any student needing help preparing for college.

Hokie Bug Camp
Hokie Bug Camp focuses on the most fun thing-- collecting live insects! Sessions will be held at Heritage Park in Blacksburg on Friday July 7 at 10am-12pm and Saturday, July 8 from 10am-12pm and 1pm-3pm. This activity, recommended for children ages 6-13 years old, is focused on the collection, identification, and pinning of insect specimens.
