Kids Tech University
Kids Tech University accepts enthusiastic learners ages 9 through 12 to attend all-day events that consist of an interactive morning session centered on answering a question about the world around us, a break for lunch, and an afternoon hands-on component featuring the Virginia Tech professors, students, clubs, and community. This year's dates are Saturday, January 28th, February 18th, March 18th, and April 1st, 2023. Scholarships are available!

Tech Girls
TechGirls is looking for 10 US Ambassadors to be part of this international summer exchange program for high school women from around the world. US citizens between the ages of 15 and 17 with an interest in technology can apply to take part and receive a free scholarship that includes all costs. The application deadline is December 16, 2022. The program will be held in Blacksburg, Virginia

RISE VT
RISE VT (Recruiting Initiative for Student Engineers) is a series of free events, one per semester, starting with the spring of a student’s sophomore year targeting underrepresented/underserved students. Students may apply to the program as high school sophomores or juniors. Sophomores will attend a tailgate and the spring football game in April. Juniors will take part in Engineering Open House on March 27, 2023. Food and lodging (when needed) as well as transportation for students traveling from Tidewater, Richmond, and Northern Virginia are provided free of charge. Applications are open!
