Superintendent

Welcome!

As we kick off another school year in Floyd County Public Schools, I’m excited about all that lies ahead for our students, staff, and community. We are entering year two of our strategic plan, and we are already seeing the momentum grow as we stay focused on what matters most - helping every student succeed.

This year, we are also beginning work on our very first Capital Improvement Plan. It’s a big step forward in making sure our schools continue to be safe, welcoming spaces that support learning and growth for years to come.

One of the things I am most looking forward to is strengthening connections with our alumni, local businesses, and community partners to expand real opportunities for our students. From classrooms to career pathways, these relationships are key to helping our students dream big and achieve more.

We are grateful for the continued support of our families and the greater Floyd County community. Your partnership helps us stay true to our mission of building a better future, together.

Let’s make it a great year!
