 Floyd County Public Schools is proud to offer free breakfast and lunch to all students through the Community Eligibility Provision (CEP), ensuring that every child has access to nutritious meals each school day. Our Food Services Program, managed by The Nutrition Group, is dedicated to providing balanced, healthy meals that support student learning and well-being.

Wellness Policy

As part of our commitment to student health and well-being, Floyd County Schools follows a Wellness Policy that promotes nutrition education, physical activity, and overall wellness. This policy ensures that students have access to healthy meals, opportunities for movement, and resources to support lifelong healthy habits. Triennial Assessment

In accordance with the Final Rule of the Federal Healthy, Hunger-Free Kids Act of 2010 and the Virginia Administrative Code: 8VAC20-740, the Floyd County School division presents the 2017-2020 Triennial Assessment which includes the timeframe from 2017-2020. The Triennial Assessment indicates updates on the progress and implementation of Floyd County School division’s Wellness Policy and wellness initiatives and provides required documentation of actions, steps, and information as outlined in the Final Rule.
