Sixth Grade

In History, we pick up right where you left off in 5th grade and explore 1865 post-Civil War to Present day!

English is focused on fortifying our language arts foundation. We explore a variety of texts to grow as communicators.

We take mathematics to the next level by building upon previous knowledge to solve real world problems involving fractions, decimals, measurement, statistics, and beyond.

This year science includes learning about our world, from the tiniest elements in chemistry to the huge planets in our solar system. We learn about earth’s atmosphere, weather, solar energy, our vital watershed, and the water cycle.

Our goal is to become lifelong readers and learners.
