The Floyd County School Board will conduct an adjourned meeting on Wednesday, March 15, 2023, at 4:00 p.m. to meet with the Virginia School Boards Association (VSBA) to proceed with conducting a superintendent search. 

The adjourned school board meeting scheduled for Monday, March 27, 2023, and previously set for 2:00 p.m. has been changed to 6:00 p.m. This meeting will begin with a public hearing to hear comments on the qualifications and characteristics that citizens feel are important in considering candidates for the school superintendent. Following the public hearing, the School Board will finalize the proposed FY 2023-24 school budget which will be provided to the Floyd County Board of Supervisors for consideration and approval.

Both meetings will be held at the School Board Administrative Office.
