About Us
Floyd County Schools is a small, rural school division located in the scenic Blue Ridge Mountains of Southwest Virginia. Serving approximately 1,600 students across five schools—four elementary schools and one high school—FCPS is committed to fostering a supportive and challenging learning environment where all students can thrive. Our dedicated educators and staff work collaboratively to provide high-quality instruction, innovative programs, and a strong foundation for lifelong success.
